My 9 month old female Llewellin has been having trouble lately in the UP snow & ice with cuts on her pads. She also gets a LOT of snow/ice packed into her feet when she's outside. We've had some strange weather up here so far this winter, so we don't have the deep powder that we would normally have at this time of year. Instead, we have a hardpack that is sharp & slippery.

I'm looking to buy a couple sets of doggie boots for her, but not sure what brand/style I should be looking to get.

Any input is appreciated.

I have a 2 sets of Neoprene soled Dog boots that I bought
online at either Cabelas, Bass Pro, or LL Bean.
You will have to measure the Dogs foot from the back of the Pad to the tip of the Nails to get the correct size.

Size: Small (2.5")

Size: Large (3.5")
Size:EXTRA LARGE( 4,5")

You also might want to check a Place like Ebay as some times they have Name brands for little money up for auction.

How do they seem to be holding up? Also, do you ahve any problems with them coming off easily?

They seem to work fairly well but I only use them in the Winter and just for the Dogs to run a Half hour at a time.
You also might want to talk to a Breeder in your area and get his thoughts on what to use.
PA has similar weather that you describe and the crust on the Snow can really cut a dogs pads.
If you are going to use them for hunting get the Best you can afford because they will take more of a Beating.
