I'm about ready for a pup. Have had five labs since college and can't imagine anything but...

Any recommendations on breeders in or near Colorado? Won't be doing any bird hunting but looking for a family, camping, running companion. Prefer black or perhaps fox red this time.
Whoever it is,I would look long and hard at the hip history of the kennel. If the breader can't show you scores, run away. If all the scores aren't good or excellent, run away.
These 2 are planning on starting a family in Febuary !

Nice, please have both hip certs done before you consider breeding them. Make sure there is at most one with fair hips. If both are excellent or good you're GTG.
Trap is done, waiting to do his blood work, and Teal, the dam, just had her X rays done last week.
We are responsibly breeding. No backyard crap here.
Love to hear that.....way to go.
Hips are important. I would also ask if one parent is EIC and CNM clear. If they don't know what that is or can't show the proof it has been done. I would look elsewhere.
Also PRA......
