I have a Winchester model 75 sporting that I am planning on selling and am hoping to get an idea of what it’s worth. It shoots and functions excellent. Unfortunately it’s been drilled and tapped for a scope. I know the collector value is gone.

I’m interested in your rifle sir. PM with a price and condition.
Okay, let me jump in, trying to be completely honest and fair, both ways! According to Pictures! As a Collector of several, I do agree with you that due to the drilled receiver, the Collector Value is pretty much gone! It's still a Winchester, and they made great shooters, even without the drilled receiver, although appearing in Good Honest Condition, and most of the original Factory bluing worn off, and the Stock in good shape with some handling marks, mars and scratches. The sights and swivels look good, and providing the Bore is at least decent to good, my Guesstimate is somewhere Between $150.00 - $200.00. Keeping in mind if This was in pristine Condition, somewhere north of a $1000.00 Bucks! Just my opinion, and no I'm not Interested!

550-650.
I don't claim to be an authority on these, but I think that would sell in about 2 hours here for $1,000.00. There was one in a shop here in the same condition that wasn't drilled and it lasted about three hours and was sold to a Winchester collector for $1,700.00. They are even more rare than original 52 Sporters. There are tons of $400 model 75 targets out there to swap out the receiver. Just my observation and opinion from Pennsylvania.
I'm in agreement with JimH. But probably more like $700.00 tops: Not worth a whole lot in its condition. OP, thanks for posting pics of your rifle. A lot of threads here are without pics and damn near useless. I almost bought one in like new condition for $500.00 at a small town gunshow about 5 years ago. Had I not spent almost a grand on the rifle I sold to gunner500 here, I would have bought the 75 sporter as well. Beautiful rifles, but the one in the op has been drilled and tapped and has seen a ton of use. Good luck to the op in selling it. As with all of these "what's it worth" threads, a lot of it depends on locale.
550 -600 and it will move. More than that and it will sit. Good honest shooter, especially if mounted with a J4 Weaver on an N5 side mount. Mine does 1/2 inch at 50 yards all day.
Wow listening to you guys, I think I'm gonna sell a couple of my unbelievable, high condition 75's on this sight, and see if I can get somewhere north of a couple grand! I'll let you know how that works out!

If you have any in the condition of the op's for 150-200 I'm a player....
Sorry! Heck according to this my shooters are worth north of $1500.00 bucks! Never went after guns with the bluing wore off, holes drilled, and just beat up guns. Just a lot of problems in my estimate! If the outside of a firearm was beat up, then they most certainly didn't take care of the bore! Even when I would buy out old collections to get a good piece or two, I would then sell, trade, or farm out to friends who were set up at the shows looking for stuff for their tables! I miss the old days!

The bolt alone will bring 250+ on eBay...
These bring big money when they’re all original and in high condition.
The OPs rifle has neither - but would make a great woods or truck gun with a little nostalgic touch of class. Collectibility is out the window, but the OP knows that.
I’d say $400 would be fair. Could more money be got - probably with enough time or the “right” buyer.

I love the 75 sporters but I wouldn’t want to get into this one for more than my above quoted value.
