Well, dunno what they wanted for the 25 06, id have been interested. Anyone here gonna bid on the 280? I don't need it, but I really don't think a guy would get hurt. I don't want to bid against someone here though.

Bid away buddy. I was thinking about it because you won't get hurt. I just bought a 6 digit classic stainless today though, and a 204 Ruger a few days ago.. I'm about ready to get a damn FFL..!!

Yeah, I need to stay out of the gunshops!!! I told the guy today if he went down more on the "rock bottom" price, according to him, I'd buy the rifle. About that time the store owner comes in and he said, here's the boss lets see how low he will go. He said, "yeah, I can make you a good deal". He went down to $750. Then the nice guy behind the counter threw in a box of ammo and rings and bases. I couldn't say no to that deal.. ha ha.. The last 7mm rem mag stainless classic I had, I sold it a couple years ago for $900.. Well, I don't mind. I'll glass bed it and paint it up and make a good shooter out of it. Guaranteed... I have a good feeling about it and that usually means it's going to drive tacks..

Well, kind of what I figured would happen. I bid 800 on it and another fella came along and punched the 999 BIN on the 280. Thats ok, I just had a douglas 280 barrel put on a pre 64 action.
