The young son of dear, late friend took his dad's Win 88 on a PA bear hunt today. He slipped in the snow and badly snapped the stock at wrist. Anyone know where I might find a replacement stock for him? He feels terrible. Thanks and be well.

That is a rare item.

I had to buy a blank and found a man (since retired) who had a duplicator. Not an easy or cheap way to go.

Hoping that the 24HCF folks can help you out!

Sometimes you can find a 'beater' parts rifle with yet decent stock. Time, patience and... Luck!

eBay, a post64 stock with the basket weave checkering sold as recently as Nov. 8th, it wasn’t cheap.

If it's a clean break a good stock person can repair it almost invisibly. While they're at it have a rod glassed inside the wrist and it won't break there again
