Question for you Winchester guys, were there 2 different 35SL's? I have a model 1905SL & the ammo seems to be shorter than the 1907SL that is 351SL, am I correct? I have 5 rounds & its about the same length as a 38 special case but the reloading manual shows a case length of 1.376". What am I missing here? Thanks!

That's correct. There was 35WSL and 351WSL. 35 is shorter and considerably less powerful.

1.375" is 351, the 35 is about a quarter inch shorter.

Yes, I've found more data & it's hard to come by. Thanks,

Hope you're able to get some ammo put together and shooting. There are a few botique shops that make bullets for it, and a couple that sell bullets, brass, and loaded ammo.

BA has loaded ammo and brass in stock, but it's salty.
