I have this old 73, bore like new. I don't think it was shot much. It has most of the blue, some stock dings. Doesn't look to be reblued or refinished. It was made in 1884. It's a 38-40. I'm wondering what the value might be?

Thanks a bunch

I would think it would go fast at $3500-$3800. if you look around, some are asking $4500 for them in really good condition. The good bore will obviously bring the most.

Based on the date of manufacture, the previous quote might be a bit low. Serial numbers below 90K make it a second variation gun, they generally command a higher price, even in 38/40.

Thanks, I didn't have a clue it was worth that much.
