Has anyone had an opportunity to really take a look at the new 1886? I'm thinking there might be one in my future

well mine is put together very well. needs a pad of some kind. seems to shoot everything well but different poi for each. bison , deer , hogs so far. the tang sight is good if you take the time to learn to use it. leaverlution is what i run most of the time but i go bigger slug for really big game. sure is fun and guys line up to look at and shoot. have fun
