I have been looking for a nice 1873 SRC for some time and I found this one a few weeks ago. It was made in 1891 and has more condition than I have seen on any SRC that has seen any use. On top of that it is in 38-40 and I don't believe they made more than around 6000 of them...

That little rifle is in dandy shape. They didn't pull the saddle ring either.
What a find! Very nice...

This isn’t a saddle ring, but it’s a 38-40 also.
Made in 1884

Wow, that a nice SRC! The examples I've run across are usually beat to hell or bubba'd in some way. I haven't dabbled in the toggle link Winchesters, I might have to take the plunge one of these days.
Very nice gun, but I didn't see the saddle ring on it.
That saddle ring carbine is in exceptional shape.

Actually that is a collector. You don't find 1873 SRC in that condition, especially in 38-40! Hopefully many rabbits will fall to it this winter...
Shrap, I meant that is a sharp rifle, but I am not a collector!!!
