I have been spending a quite of bit of time over on WinchesterGuns.com lately while researching a potential purchase the new Model 70 Safari Express or Alaskan.

While there I started looking at the other rifles that Winchester is now offering, Model 94, Model 1892, Model 1886, Model 1885, Model 1873, Model 1866!

I admit, I have been just buying and researching older collectable rifles for a long time, particularity lever guns, and have not looked at the new rifles. But, I am impressed!

If the lever guns are anything like the reported FN quality and accuracy of the new Model 70, I may have to invest in a new Winchester Lever gun!

Have blown my budget on a few of the high-grade maple Supergrade and Featherweights.....If you do a little looking online, some of these can be found with really spectacular wood....
