I have a Post-64, “BACO”( FN, So. Carolina mfg) long action model 70.

I came across replacement bottom metal from stockys stocks for the, in blued steel ( about $160) and stainless (about $210).

Does anyone have any experience with this product? Quality review/feedback from actual users/purchasers?

Stockys rep said “they are made for us, in the USA.” There are 1-piece , with hinged floorplate. I asked if they were made by Williams Firearms, and the rep said “ No.”. ( blued Williams Firearms post-64, blued steel long action, 1-piece bottom metal from Brownell’s sells for about $301- I was just curious, so I asked).

Comments?
I believe they are made by PT&G.. I have used their bottom metal on Remington 700's with no issues

Yep, they're made by PT&G. I asked them a couple months back and they confirmed. If I recall correctly, it's cheaper to buy from PT&G directly. I could be wrong though.
