Link to 21 given by John Olin as a gift

Too rich for me, but I thought it would go for more with the history.

However, the wood was a bit shabby and the pictures were poor

I think that's a very fair price for a 21 with a bit of honest wear. The factory letter and case are nice too. I wouldn't have a lot of use for the 30 inch full and full barrels. Never shot a round of trap with a side by side but why not? The cool story doesn't add much value to the sale price as noted. I never met a 21 I didnt like.
Field grade 21's, when they can be found, seem to be worth about $3,000-$4,000.
I thought the story behind this gun (a Winchester 21 given by the progenitor of the 21 himself) would carry a lot of weight.
