What kind of value would you put on this package deal? Post war .22 Hornet standard grade. Mounted on top is a Bushnell 6x18 scope. Front sight hood is still intact, but the rear sight is missing. Taken off for scope clearance and can't be found. Original swivels with cobra sling. Zipper carrying case. Rifle has been fired very little and I would rate it at an honest 95% plus. And here's the unbelievable part, ready for this, this all comes with 1,500 rounds of factory Hornet 45 gr. ammo. Not a misprint fifteen hundred rounds. I was able to see this rifle first hand, but a friend has first dibs and the owners kind of sitting on the fence. Gun belonged to his uncle. What kind of an estimate would you place on this package deal? Thanks. BCM
I don't know, do know I got a hell of a deal on mine, I'd go over to gunbroker and gunsinternational and check some prices, good luck.
Ok. thanks. Could not believe the amount of ammo the guy had stockpiled.
You're quiet welcome, I'd look around at ammo prices, cut it in half for a bulk buy, then add that to the figure you come up with for a rifle.
A friend of mine only owns 2 guns. A pre-64 Model 70 in .22 Hornet and a Ruger MK1 .22lr pistol.
