Saw this on another message board if anyone is interested. $850 obo.
I'd love to have it but I just don't need it.......
need doesnt factor in here
I have two lefty KS Mountains, one in 300 H&H and it's big brother in 375 H&H. That one is tempting but with the 300 it would be duplicating what I already have. Still, it is tempting.
It will be a long time before another one turns up. That's what I've experienced looking for the right handed version. You need to be in the right place at the right time.

I'm sure others have seen the LH KS guns in 30-06 but I haven't. I think I've only seen one or two in .270 Winchester.
Cannot recall having seen a LH KS in 30-06. Have a LH KS in 270. Would really like to talk one of our Alaska buddies out of his LH KS 300 H&H. However, he talks like that would be one of his last rifles to part with...
I have had two of the .280 Remington LH KS guns but sold them. Never owned any 30-06 and just thought this would be a great one to own....but since I have a LH ULA 300WSM I just can't snag it. Hopefully it goes soon.....

Yeah, that one’s a keeper. Checked zero last week before heading out caribou camping. 3/4” group with 220 grain Partitions. If I could chose my way to go it would be at 100 years old sitting under a tree watching a trail with either the KS 300 H&H or the 400 Whelen across my lap.
I was bidding on this but was out bid. If anyone here is bidding on it, please send me a PM.
I emailed the seller of this rifle last night a couple times with some questions. His last email he mentioned that the 700 LH KS he had listed came with two magazines. I found his phone number and called him. I told him that to the best of my knowledge the KS guns never came with detachable magazines.
Am I correct on this?
Well I won the auction, looks nice. The detach mag conversion was done very nicely from what I can see in the pics. I feel like I got it for a fair price, didn't steal it but did ok. Now to develop a good load for mule deer. It'll definitely be nice to pack a lighter rifle around the hills above Winthrop. My go to guns were built by Arnold Arms back in the day and are tack drivers but they have heavy contour barrels and are way too heavy for me now to pack around all day. Now to figure out what to scope it up with...
