I have a NIB left handed G Series Model 70 .30-06 that I bought 20 years ago to make a custom rifle. It’s been on the back burner so long- I forgot about it in my safe.
It still has the hang tag and the little screws you take out to mount a scope. Never been fired. Have the original box.
What do you think it’s worth?
I recently sold one used but in excellent condition for $1,600. I would say NIB should be worth at least $2,000.
Forgot to mention mine was stainless and had a gorgeous figured walnut stock with tiger stripe the full length. Nicest factory stock I ever saw.
Stainless? You could retire earlier than expected.
I'd agree with 2K being possible.
Based on recent GB completed auctions, if Stainless, at least $2,000. If wood blue, at least $1,600-$1,800. GLWYS !
It’s chromemoly. I had 2 stainless ones (a 270 and 30-06) I sold on the campfire about 15 years. They sure have increased in price since then.
I just bought a 7 mag version nib, blued. For 1400.
Add atleast 500 to that price I'd say.

Been following your listing, great price for you. Hope you put it towards another rifle. I’ve got a few I ought to sell but just can’t bring myself to.yet.

Good for you! I am surprised that someone did not press the BIN button before it was locked out...
