Selling my lefty 700 with all its goodies to finance a Ruger American build.
Bought a lefty compact all weather 243 for a project.
That is a major upgrade. I now have 3 of the Rugers. The Predators in 308 and 6.5 are tack drivers
What are your build ideas?

I'm planning on little things first. Metal bolt shroud, trigger, removable barrel nut. Eventually a 6.5 Creedmoor barrel and a stock. Waiting on the stock till last to hope a good lightweight synthetic comes out.

Now "way to cool" would be bottom metal that makes it a top loading ADL style hunting rifle. Even if the loading port needed milling open.
