Well shooty toots.
Not sure why no LH RAR rimfires yet. Seems like an easy proposition
The special order will pretty much kill the deals like you saw on CDNN, makes sense for Ruger I suppose only build what people special order. Easier to keep product flowing at a higher price. Glad I bought the LH Hawkeys when they were available.
With all the niche items they do, the lack of the rimfire is a head scratcher.
Cataloged items or not don't mean much anyhow. If Davidsons or Lipseys wants something, it gets made, and made quickly. Sometimes the Ruger customer service people arent even aware of guns that a distributor has on the shelf.
Does anyone know if Ruger has a "custom shop" like Remington or Savage?

I've been considering an M77 for awhile now, but the standard list of cartridges offered just hasn't tripped my trigger. If I could special order a standard LH M77 Hawkeye w/walnut stock in .250 Savage it would definitely pique my interest a little more. I've been on the brink of calling Effie at Savage several times in the last year or two to order a custom lefty .250 Savage, but after 15 years of eating, sleeping, breathing Savage's with my website I'm a bit burnt out on them and just want something different. If money wasn't an issue I would just order a NULA or build a custom around a Pierce titanium action, but my pockets aren't quite that deep.
Mr. Furious,

You can always find a used Ruger M-77 in 22/250 and have it re-bored to 250/3000. I gave this project a thought last fall and decided the rifle would not be used enough after finding a new in box lefty M-77 in 22/250 on Gunbroker. Someday I will likely wish I had. My T/C pro hunter with a T/C custom shop 250 Savage sporter weight barrel just suits my needs.....presently

Doc
If I were going to go to that expense I would probably just rebarrel it.

I don't think they do, but a phone call to them should get you the answer. I wouldn't be surprised if Ruger were to make LH Hawkeyes in limited production runs every so many years, either of their own accord, or due to special orders from Grice or Lipsey's. At least they already have the tooling to do it even if they have ceased production for the time being.
I’m about 100.00% sure they don’t have any kind of custom shop per se but they definitely do a lot of one-off runs for their biggest distributors. I have a couple of LH stainless Hawkeyes in .223 and .308 which are one of maybe 17 and one of 19 of each run that I know of.

It’s been 19 months since Ruger discontinued them and the selection of LH Hawkeyes is finally getting dried up but there are still new ones available from CDNN and on gunbroker in .375 Ruger, .300 WM, .204, 7mm RM and the ill-fated RCM calibers, plus one or two in more common calibers, so I’m thinking we shouldn’t hold our breaths for any 500 rifle runs in the immediate future.

Re-boring runs about half the cost of re-barreling.
