Yep. They been floating around for a while. Given that on a "per rifle" basis they are asking more than 3x what the individual rifles would have sold for a couple years ago when everyone was bat-chit crazy for LH Winchesters, I think they are going to continue to be "available" for some time into the future...

The most interesting one for me would have been the .243. However, that rifle was still built on a long action, with a converted RH stock. An original short action, left hand .243 Win with a factory FWT barrel and stock would be interesting. The .243 they have listed, not so much...

I bought a LH Model 70 in 338, stainless w/walnut when they first came out. Sold it a few years ago for $1,200, doubled my money.
Here is my LH MCR that I had custom made to fit my 6'5" LH body. MCR polished the receiver outside, and the action. Trued the barrel to the receiver and recessed the crown. Had Seringetti make me a AA Claro laminated stock with ebony forearm tip and ebony cross bolt plugs, metal crip cap and checkered.
I ordered it as a 358, but a few years latter had a second barrel made for a 308. Shoots as nice as it looks.

Nice guns. Mine are mostly mcmillan stocked beaters, not really worthy of this thread. But I can appreciated some walnut stuff along the way.

Cooper custom classic, special-ordered full-length bedding (Coopers are free-floated) and a few other nice to have options. It came out pretty good. Scope is a 6x42mm Leupold in steel Talleys. Caliber is .30-06

Adding to the pics. Posted this over in the Savage forum. All first year lefty's. Just need a 308 to complete the set.

I'll gone in sharing my favorite custom lefty so far. Rem 700, douglas 25-06, french walnut custom stock, gentry safety, bunch of other little stuff. Killed an antelope, couple of nice axis deer, hogs, and hauled it well up into the Cascade mountains for a backpacking trip despite its weight. It still wears the gloss leupold despite hating the look as it just shoots great and I always forget to mess with it until I want to use it again.

Absolute Stunner! I'd like to do a mauser action build at some point.

The one thing I noticed re-looking at this picture was that the .243 in the bunch (left most rifle) actually appears to be built on a long action like all of the others. And with a converted RH stock to boot.

From his auction description......"Almost all are in Sporter configuration, exceptions being the .243 Winchester (long action with magazine spacer, McMillan synthetic varmint stock modified for an H-S Precision heavy barrel)"

Yes it is...borrowed it from Norma for a Moose hunt in Sweden. Carl Gustav push-feed action, detachable box (not available in the US). Wish I could have taken it home.

This thread started with a group of 11 Left Hand Win M70 rifles out of their custom shop. All built by/for one of the lead engineers for the Classic series, who happened to be Left Handed. Consecutive S/N's. Originally offered last year, as a group for $70K. Then price dropped to $60K. Now offered on GB individually. IF the seller had started off at a reasonable price two years ago, before the market went soft, they may have had a chance to sell as a group. Agree with tmitch, don't think they are going to do too well in current market with current prices.

The .270 has a bit of nice grain pattern to it. The wood on the rest are seem pretty unremarkable to me. The .35 Whelen might be interesting given that it was not a production offering. Hopefully link works:

It took quite a while for them to realize they weren't going to sell the set. They were at 75K around 2 years ago. Always thought it would be a cool set to have, but the price was out of line.

The .375H&H and the .35 Whelen both sold the first go around. The only remaining chambering that interests me is the .270 Win. There would be a certain amount of "pride of ownership" to be able to say "This is the first Left Hand .270 that Winchester ever made." ... But, not $4,000 worth...

I do believe the M-70 25-06 is gone as well.
