Not mine but I'm surprised this one hasn't seen any action. The .473 bolt head models were commanding well into the 4 digit range during the last shortage. Still a decent price for a scarce rifle.

LH LSS .30-06

Not knowing my Remington lingo, does LSS stand for laminated, stainless steel?

A quick search of GB Completed Auctions, this rifle is definitely priced at the lower end of market value...
Yes, exactly - laminated, stainless steel. I forget exactly when Remington first made them but I had a LH .30-06 and a .300 WM in the mid-late 90's so it was at least around then. They stopped making the .473 bolt models after just a couple of years but kept making them in the big RUM calibers for a while. They're well made rifles from that time period even if that laminated stock makes them a tad heavy. The .270/30-06/7mm RM and 300 WM all came with 24" barrels.

Nice rifle for someone, I don't recall the exact numbers but that stock was not a lightweight by any means......

An '06 stainless in a edge Mcmillan.......Game on.

So this is my rifle. I live in a very rural part of Nebraska and asked my buddy Brian, misplacedinnebraska, to list it for me as he lives in the city and can ship much easier/faster than I can. My local post office is almost always closed before I get off work to get there and I don't have a local Fedex or UPS.

I bought the rifle used about a decade ago and have never shot it. Was going to use it for an elk rifle, but have since bought a lighter weight rifle so I'm selling this one to finance a nice pack and some other gear for (hopefully) an elk hunt this year.

The metal, chamber, and bore looks like it may have never been shot. There is a blem/mark in the stock, right at the stock tip.

The LSS rifles have a matte stainless finish on the metal, a hinge bottom plate, and laminate stock. The stock isn't a lightweight, weights about the same as a wood stock, perhaps just an ounce heavier than a BDL/CDL wood. Not near as heavy as the Ruger laminate stocks though.

I'd be happy to email or text pictures to anyone who might want to see some.

Thanks Adam. I have requested Brian to send me some photos of it.

I didn't know, or even so much as notice when I purchased my M700 LSS in 270 that it has a 26" barrel, and every other one I've ever seen, and all that is written, says they all come with 24" barrels. Also purchased the M700 LSS in 338RUM (both of these are LH) and the 338 RUM has become kind of a leprechaun too.

Price reduction on this. $800 shipped.

Lets bump this back up for $775 shipped. I'd gladly email or text pictures to anyone interested.

I've also got a left handed Stainless .308 Ruger Gunsite Scout rifle that will be getting listed shortly. Shot very little and in great shape. Same asking price as the Remington. Trades for either considered. Happy to email or text pictures for anyone who might be interested. Thanks.
