Just perusing GI, came across this listing... Of course it's already gone. Just wondering if someone here broke their arm dialing the phone? laugh laugh laugh

LH KoO .22 for $849...
That's the spittin' image of mine, right down to the original Kimber rings and Leupold M8 4x compact scope. Geez, those rings alone would be worth somewhere north of $100 and how far north I couldn't say.

Somebody got the steal of the month with that one.

That was my thought. I looked at the ad. Looked at the price. Went back and re-read the ad to make sure I didn't miss something. Then picked up the phone. Have ZERO need for it. But at half price... I'd make an exception...
I called Bass Pro in Springfield on a LH Anschutz. I emailed them also. Didn't get a return call or email for several days. Finally called back again and was told "it has been spoken for". That didn't pass the smell test for me.
Damn! Bet it was gone within minutes of hitting the Cabelas website. It was probably long gone before it hit the GI site.

Cabelas gun library is terrible about returning calls and emails. I called on this one also but can't get a return call nor anyone to answer, other than voicemail, when I call.
This was the only time that I have ever called Cabela's. Person on the other end answered "Gun Library" on about the second ring. Got the answer I was expecting. Just not the answer I was hoping for. But alas, the money will stay in my pocket...
I've found e-mailing Cabelas is a waist of time and expecting a call back a crap shoot. Best to keep calling till you get someone to answer. I've had fairly good luck getting through in a couple tries during the week but weekends are ify.
My bet is an employee spotted a great deal and either held it for a friend or purchased it. Can’t blame them, just the perks of the job.

My thoughts too.
