Hello Gang!

Was wondering if anyone could shed some light on this fine combo firearm.

Largest curiosity is value.

Thanks for any help you may have.

Not with those pictures, they're too small and I don't know how to blow them up and, I'll need to see the proof marks. Pull the gun down and the proof marks will be on the barrel flats and probably on the water table. Might be a couple up the barrel a little bit from the flats.

Roux underlever action, typical hammer combination gun from the late 1800's up to shortly after WWI. It's entirely possible, indeed probable. that Oberhammer was just the retailer. It was more than likely made in either Suhl or Zella-Mehlis. Proofs should tell the story. Hard to tell from the tiny photo's but it appears to be in remarkable condition.
Sharps, I am pretty new to using this website, I had to make the pictures small in order to put them on, I am sure i'm doing something wrong there??? but thanks for the info, I will be looking more into proof markings. Thanks!
Rather than asking here you should go to the German Gun Collector's Assn. web site, you'll get a lot more accurate information. I've been a member of the assn. for 11 years and for German firearms it's incomparable. I'd post the link but I'm new to this lap top and don't know how. I don't know how to do a LOT of things on this lap top!!!! A Bing or "duck duck go" search will turn up their web site.

As far as what you might be doing wrong with the pictures, I am the last one to ask. My computer skills are just a little better than my rocket science..
