Do all you purveyors of drillings ever come across guns built for left-hand, left-shoulder shooters?

I've seen one...Kreighoff

Can't recall the calibers at the moment.

The one I'm speaking of is 12 gauge with the 8x72R below

Do you mean left handed as in it having a left handed stock and cheekpiece or also a mirrored action with the lever opening to the left? Because I do sometimes see a left hand stocked gun in stores and on the net. Most recently a pretty nice Krieghoff Neptun sidelock as well as some sort of double rifle Drilling I don't remember the name of.

I mean either stocks built for LH shooters and/or safety, selector switch and lever designed for left-handers. The lever is least important to me, as I've opened RH-designed levers on shotguns forever.

I've turned down several very nice LH drillings at almost give-away prices.

You could always get something like a Merkel 90, have the cheek piece shaved off, and the stock oil bent. I've seen it done, and the Merkel 90s have top tang safeties and barrel selectors.

If somebody tries to give one away to you again, think of me PLEASE! The M90 is in interesting suggestion.

I’ve owned three drillings with left hand stocks and safeties. A Krieghoff 16-7x57, Daly 12-38-55, I still have my Merkel 20/8X57IRS which I custom ordered from Steyr USA a few years ago. I also have a Merkel 90 12/5.6X50R with top tang safety and no cast. I also have a Dural framed Sauer 16/7X57 that has a wing added to the Greener safe so that it protrudes vertically and makes a handy left hand safety.

I bought a left hand Merkel 96K in 12 x 12 x 7x65R. Awesome gun, and lots of fun hunting roosters when a deer or pig could be around.
