Not the seller but I own one ust like it and the 22 HP barrel is on the top on these. Just interested why you prefer on top.

thanks Roy, the ammo is from Wisconsin Cartridge what ever it is ( $40. per bx, I think) also Reeds in Ok city offers it, the bullets are Hornady .228 70gr 100 pcs per bx

Erich I read about your exploits! I prefer it for looks and to put the line of site closer to the rifle barrel.

If your going to reload for it you can get lighter .228 bullets from Buffalo arms, I shoot their 55gr softpoints.

They shoot well.

I will reload for it. I have 60 and 70 grain hollow points of unknown make that shoot well in a .221 Falcon (rechambered 22 HP) that I can try.
