Looks like a great squirrel gun. That looks similar to what a lot of early naturalists used to make collections back in the day. Years ago I dabbled with a couple early combinations, but they were those new fangled breech loaders.
I do still have an old muzzleloader fowler. They can be SOB's to get a good working pattern.
Keep us posted as you get her going.

why oh why is ups so slow? they got it yesterday, why can they not deliver it today? older than dirt and still haven't learned patience!!!! new delivery eta Tuesday.

Naw! they say it is in Spokane. 120 miles away. and today is Friday. and they don't deliver Saturdays up here on the mountain. and i am twitching to get my hands on it.
Hopefully it gets delivered Monday. every day it is in the rodeo is an add day it can get broke. last 3 long guns i had delivered were damaged. makes me sweat. 180 years old without the stock being broke. maybe i will just sleep until Monday. grin
