I have a chance to buy this Kreighoff Neptun Primus 16/16/7X65R drilling at a good price...for a sidelock Neptun, that is. It came along at the wrongest time for me, dammitt.

I am having to replace a well pump my angel dogs sabotaged. They dug a deep hole directly over my water line near the back porch. It froze. The pump kicked on for a day and couldn't move water, and it shows a dead short now. I might sell Rosie and Emmy and buy the Neptun.

Thankfully the cheekpiece is on the wrong side of the stock for me to get really jealous.

Don't sell the pups! Maybe you could sell your first borne. Good dogs are really hard to come by.

Nice one, but not as nice as the dogs.

Rosie and Emmy are safe. The problem was a short in the direct burial wire from the house to the pump. It cost 1/3 the original estimate to fix, but I can't afford a Neptun, so I got that BSW cape gun set at less than 1/3 the Neptun cost.

Broker than broke again...

The dogs and I are going quail hunting in the morning. It's the last day of the season.
