He's a big strong young man now and can lug around a "substantially-built" Fortuna 12ga and 7X65R with a 1-4X20 Nickel scope. The gun is experienced but is still very tight, and it has good wood as a nice touch.

Now all we need is to find somewhere to hunt. We both struck out in the NV draw again. I think we'll buy a couple of mountain lion tags and adopt 4-5 dogs from the pound for a lion pack.

I changed the scope to a Leupold long tube 3X duplex. It's a much better scope.

Owen has his eye on my Vanguard 6.5-300 Wby, so I'll probably sell the drilling.
