Valmet 30-06/12ga. Leupold 3-9, supposedly Tikka/Sako rings?
Didn't know they worked on a valmet. Had a Finn classic 512 years ago with an OEM valmet mount. Stupidly sold it.

What is the valmet 412 in nice condition with combo barrel worth these days. Have a chance to buy this one for $1300.00 but haven't seen it yet. Leupold and rings are worth $200, is the gun worth $1100?

Yes they are worth it. Local shop has a 2 very nice Valmet's. One in 308/12 and a 30.06/12 with no mount/rings and they want $1000 for each.

I haven't seen a nice 412 in over 10 years and these 2 beauties have been sitting there since Xmas. I was thinking of horse trading but reality got the better of me.

well if they've been there since Xmas I'd say the price is too steep--its like valuing guns by whats be asked listed on gunbroker but no ones bidding on them

I guess it depends on how much you want it. If you want that combo and there are no others available at a lower price then it is the one to buy. If you can wait for a better deal that MIGHT come along, do so. Combo guns are the great for me and my hunting style but too many are afraid of only having one shot in this market. From watching combo guns sell over the past few years $1300 isn't a bad price for one in good+ condition with rings and a name brand scope in very useful/popular calibers.
