Some may remember this German 20 gauge over 6.5x52r that I picked up and posted about last year. I solved the scope issue (acquired an old Zeiss Jena 4x and fitted some claw mounts to the rifle). I had a local gunsmith do some stock repair and refinishing, but I am less than satisfied with his work. He was supposed to go through the internals and get everything in top shape, but after getting it back the internal hammers wouldn't recock on opening about 50% of the time. I have it apart and have solved the rifle barrel cocking issue, but the shotgun side has a "heavy" trigger pull and is kind of rough. I really don't want to mess with the sear and would like an experienced gunsmith to get it perfect. I really want someone who has "been there and done that" vs. someone who has to figure it out. Tried that and it didn't work with the local azz clown. Thanks
JJ Perodeau has done a number of drillings and BBF's for me. Excellent work, he has a backlog, so it will take a while, but it will be done right.

Bachelder Master Gunmaker in Grand Rapids,

He rebuilt a backaction lock from my hammer drilling, it worked like it just came from the factory, great job.

Abe Chaber in Connecticut or JJ Perodeau in OK. Both are quite familiar with German guns. New England Custom Guns is as well.
