I was offered a very nice Fortuna/Merkel drilling in 16 2 3/4" and 7X57R with a Zeiss 1.5 to 6 in claws with the #11 reticle for a price I couldn't turn down, and IT'S HERE! laugh

I'll be out in the west field at first light popping off a few rounds tomorrow. The gun has a good "feel" to it.

“ Too nice to turn down,” has brought the debit card to tears here a time or three.... Kudos on the find and particularly the rather practical chambering. Have fun tomorrow!

I especially like the #11 reticle. It's the tapered three-post and is my favorite for big game hunting. It's the most uncommon reticle I believe, but I can't figure why?? confused

There are more than two I have the same 16ga/16ga/7x57R JP Sauer with a 6x tapered post scope and a 1.5x20mm scope mounted low.

Your long lost brother.

Well...

I guess it's for sale. I got it for Owen for his 16th BD, but he snookered me again. He ended up with my favorite '06, an FN Supreme with 3-position safety, Timney trigger, 2.5-8 Loopy, all in a Brown Precision Pound'r stock.

So...It Is For Sale now. frown
