Loved that video Thank's.
That looked like a Feisler Storch that they used as a spotter plane.
That looks like too much fun!
It is a lot of fun, and you can knock a lot of pigs when conditions are right. Sometimes a bit of a challenge to brace yourself in the vehicle to take your shots as you and the pigs run across the paddock. Have to look out for low branches and stuff too, if you are standing up in the back of a ute.

Doing the same thing at night, with one driving, one holding the light and one shooting is also fun.

Is that your video OzzyHunter?
Hey Dan. Yep thats me shooting in the video.

Sounds like you have done a bit of it yourself.

Where in Oz are you?
Sure is buddy. Perfect for this kind of work.

Nice shooting!

Yes, I've done a bit of that, on various properties out in western NSW and SW Qld. Shooting from the back of various utes and open 4WDs. Sometimes holding on with one hand and shooting the pig as we come up alongside, one handed. Sometimes with a rifle over the top of the cab too. Some fun times to be had!

I would shoot that German, plane down first. Rio7
That looks like a whole lotta fun. Thanks for posting.

I agree..still painted in camo and German markngs....cool plane.
It looks like fun in a short video, but I'll bet it is a long day if that's what you did for 8 hours.
😁 Yep the plane is a 3/4 replica of a WWII Storch. With the German markings as well as it belonged to a historical society.

Reivertom I don't think anyone could keep up with it for 8 hours. We normally go for about 3 or 4 hoirs at a time depending on the properties we are on.
I would like to know more about the shotgun shells used. Are they a type of tungsten or heavy shot? What is the equivalent US size?
AAA

See this link, I think your equivalent shot size is TT?
Wow, corona pigs take it on the chin! Worth the price of a flight damn near!
Looks like T size lead shot.
