Looking to get a gas powered pressure washer to use around the farm. Normally the user reviews help me out, but on these they are confusing. Some say get one with a Honda engine( agree) , but the one’s I find with the Honda engine have terrible comments about the pump. Looking to spend about $500-800. Any advice ?

Have two right now...both Honda powered

Did replace the pump on the 15 YO one a while back

Seems Honda makes a lesser motor that these washers get...a bit louder

Over all little upkeep...clean fuel change the oil once a year.....

Pressure hose lasts...as long as it not run over... cry

My newer one has a fuel shut off valve which is useful

I've got a Powerstroke brand pressure washer with a Subaru engine that's been great. Easy starter, runs great, pressure has always been enough. I think it's a 2700 psi but not positive.
Honda for power.

Cat pumps are the cat's meow....
agree honda and cat pumps
I bought a craftsman pressure washer probably about 20 years ago. Damn thing is still running.

Well, at least it was when the wife loaned it to some friends/neighbors that were relocating about 15 miles away and were working furiously to get their house prepped for their sale.

Texted the guy the other day to see if he was done with it. I'd like to pressure wash out the stock trailer.

Said he busted a hose end on it and hasn't gotten the part yet.

So, short story is, I am probably in the market for another pressure washer.

I have a couple hotsy heated pressure washers at the shop. I may buy another one of those. Maybe not a hotsy but something similar. Our hotsy dealer is a pita to deal with here.
I bought a Husqvarna 3200 psi washer last year. Works very well and, so far, starts easy and doesn't leak. It has a B&S engine and is made in USA. $400. I have a Honda powered one too that is really old but still works okay. A lot of Honda engines are made in other parts of Asia under license from Honda from what I have been told.
I bought one from Home Depot several years ago. Ridgid brand with Subaru motor and cat pump. I usually always look for Honda power but the Subaru starts easy every time just like my Honda’s.
