We had massive wind storm. Some stood some didn’t
What brands you prefer?
We have used Doebler's here in PA the last 2 years with good success. Pioneer the years before that.
Pioneer # P1563AM for grain sale
Kussmaul RFS-2090 and Dairyland DS-31620 for silage tonnage
I plant mostly dekalb and pioneer. Always try some small fields with som other cheaper brands. Ha a test plot about 30 acres of Agragold. And 11 acres of Stine. The wind damage to dekalb and pioneer was 5-18%. 80% on the test fields

I had 1563 last year or 2. It’s som good stuff. Dekalb beat it fir me
I have 1366 this year. Kinda fun watching dealers competition fir top yeald. Between dekalb and pioneer can’t say one is really better than the other it’s back and forth.
1366 might be top this year
Don’t see much LG in our neck of the woods
Kussmaul Seed Co sells their seed in Washington, but not Nebraska. Did you ever try it? Their plant is in Warren Illinois about 70 miles from me and local distribution facility about 20 miles. It is an old Wisconsin company that my Granddad and Dad bought from. I have tried their grain hybrids, but Pioneer always beat them. Buy their silage seeds though, great tonnage.
I farm in nebraska never seen that one around here not even in test plots
I have been looking and testing other brands none have stacked up so far. Dekalb and pioneer have been king
See lots of channel and hougmeyer around. Might try a few bags of that
Lot's of Beck's grown here, along with Pioneer, and some Stewart.

I dont think I had ever heard the name Kussmaul, until last week. I installed an auto eject on a truck. Now here the name is again, only this time it's corn.
Cut through a bunch of back roads yesterday on a mission. Saw a crap ton of Partners Brand signs on the corn fields. Never heard of it. Usually, around here it's Pioneer, Funk's, DeKalb and Doebler's............
Anyone remember United Hagie?
Yes john, more brands than different hybrids.
Garst used to be a big selling brand here locally. My son worked for a Garst dealer when he got out of college, and for a few years they were the number one selling dealer in the country. He left them and started selling Golden Harvest, and after a year they were bought out by Monsanto, and he quit rather than move to another state. Worked out for the best for him, as he ended up with a much better paying job.
Mycogen seeds are popular here, as well as LG, also see Channel and Agri-Gold.
Used to see see signs in the field here with a Name and number.
Partner, Pioneer, and Dekalb, I remember.
Never see that anymore. Why?
Got started picking corn so far dekalb in one of my test fields is 229 bu acre
Tryed som Agragold it was horrible wind blew it down bad what was left was really low test weight. So far the pioneer stood the wind the best
Pioneer seems to have a rep for falling over when the wind blows around here.
Golden Harvest planted on my ground for the past many years. Tried a couple dozen bags of Wyffels this year, looking good so far, but I haven't fired up the combine yet.
They pulled the Pioneer signs here.
Maybe they blew down too?
Maybe they blew down too?
Have a 90 acre field planted half pioneer half dekalb
The insurance man walked it and about double the damage on the dekalb
It’s really not brand rather it’s the number.
