Something like a 104 cows in 37 minutes.
The new setup worked well today.
Wabi, how come you got cows with scours?
I dont remember having a cow with scours, calves yes! In fact, I use to give every calf a pill. If they didn't have scours, they was gonna get it. Giving every calf the pill, when it was a day or two old, save me a lot of headaches. Teramycin sp? I think, but not sure.
Glad your system worked out. That's a lot of cow in a short time.
Oldman, the shot is to prevent calf scours through the cow's milk.
Never heard of that.... Learn something everyday!
I'll correct that, not through the milk.

The vaccine is administered to the cow, and this stimulates antibody production which results in increased levels of antibody in the cows colostrum. For the first few hours of life a newborn calf can absorb these antibodies and it will help protect him from pathogens that cause diarrhea.
Back in the day, a friend had a Datsun B210? in calf scours brown color.
