Anyone else do it?

We need a bag of seed to plant in 6 rows 80 rods long.
Yea I happens.
Every time I first start seems I don’t get at least one box drive engaged
Years ago we had an Allis planters junked
We saved all the row units I always wanted to make a 3 pt 1 and 2 row for a little tractor for skips

Having a marker arm bounce up and stay always made for an interesting day.

I planted an 80 light on beans once.

I planted again to get the stand right. It went fast, not filling seed often, and no putting markers down, or up.

I had a push type planter.for my big garden, the neighbor would borrow it to fill in blank spaces in rows in his corn field. Just push it along and it would drop seed at the right intervals, the right depth and cover them over. He thought it was great, his son that did the re seeding wasn't so keen on having to push it.
Dad had an old allis planter with individual ground drive on each row
We tore it all apart and built a 3 pt 2 row planter for skips
Works great havnt used it in years
Also have a jd 7000 for the odd places I forget
GPS limits that alot
