Picked about a bushel of green tomatoes before the killing frost in October. Periodically put them in closed paper sacks to ripen. One is going to get sliced and put on cheeseburgers tonight.

We cut the vine at ground level and hang upside down in the basement and use the tomatoes as they ripen. Anyway that works is good.

Make um' last as long as you can!
