I hear the cow herd is at a sixty year low. What do you think? Time to buy calves?

Only if you have good pasture or can grow forage. No moisture, drought is kicking ass here.

I'm sure hoping this fall is going to be a good time to sell calves anyways!! Things here in the East are a little different weather wise than you guys. Even here the prices are going up some...

High grain prices and last years drought have contributed to the low numbers here. I'm sure hoping for some good calf prices come fall.

Cattle prices are good, grass if grazed off because of drought, but winter wheat is up because of snow, stocker calf’s everywhere, sure makes you wonder if getting out of moma cows is smarter!

Central Texas my sons going to sell his yearling this week out of hay and market skyhigh.we need a good year of rain,crazy prices even on canners.
