That is a great looking place. Is that a creek or a pond. I hope thats what ya call them up there. I am on the gulf coast so I dont know. Its a great looking place any way. Oh ya any fish in there.

I thought that Wisconsin was supposed to be skillet flat and covered with trees.


I very clearly see grass and a hill in that picture.

It is a spring fed pond. My Great-grandfather created it with a team of horses and a scoop in the 1890s. There is largemouth bass and pan fish in the pond.

Tumble bug?

There is a large portion of Wisconsin that is hilly with some down right rough and rugged. My farm is in a region called the "Driftless Area" whereby glaciers missed it.

There are places that we can farm three sides of an acre. LOL

Rapala 3 or 4" wobbler minnow. My favorite on the local lakes as well as Mississippi and Wisconsin rivers.

I'll bet Jim is talking about the "scoop" your grandfather used. We call them tumble bugs around here. Old fashioned dirt moving tool, strictly mechanical. I had one that was built for a 3 point hitch, years ago.

If the dirt scraper is the topic, I'll guess Fresno scraper? We have two from my grandfather's gravel business.
