Anyone ever used one of the little $300 weed eater motor sized jack hammers? I’m looking for something to throw on the atv to pound rock tops out of the roads and trails to the stands. Mostly sandstone so not super hard stuff. I realize a 185cfm Ingersoll Rand and a 90# hammer would be the better option.

Didn't know that such a machine existed. It's amazing what you can learn on the fire. However, I got a 16# and a 20# sledge hammer that you can borrow.

Anyone that builds fence in rocky terrain has to have a Poinjar... smile

I’m looking at the larger of these two “high quality” pieces of equipment. I’ve already got the 20# sledge but last we met, one of us ain’t as good as we once were.

Well I finally got around to using this little jewel and I have to say I'm sorta impressed. It's the JH95A. Probably not your first choice for blue limestone but it'll eat sandstone for lunch. Limestone doesn't break as easily, but it will do it. It came with a flat bit and a pointed bit. Mixed my gas and started up on the third pull out of the box. Throw it on the 4 wheeler and get rid of those rock tops you've been running over all those years.

Nice thing about a Pionjar is you can drill a hole, fill it with exposives, detonate and then it's just a matter of clearing the loose rock.

This one is not as fancy as a real Pionjar. Breaker only - no drill mode.
