You know, spring really isn't that far off. It's almost January, and I've seen spring come early here, like mid-March, which is only a couple of months away. I've planted early garden the last week of February a few times........peas, potatoes, onions.

Schit. I am still waiting for fall.

Northern Pa. I believe in Wellsboro.. Her husband works for Shell Oil.. They left Pinedale, Wy,, and had to move to La. They hated the south due to the heat and humidity.. Got a chance for N. Pa. and moved there.. I think their next move will be back to Pinedale.. But the Northern tier is awesome country..

Absolutely. My youngest will graduate from TAMU in mechanical engineering (so a serious pay raise for me...), has a great job lined up and he and I will be chasing bear around our place in north Idaho. We have a couple of neighbors that want to join so it should be a great trip.

The garlic should be emerging in two months or so.

Spring time here....but still maintaining snowshoe trails. Still manually pulling freight up the mountain to the cabin, six feet of snow. Days are getting long and bears are laying near the dens in the sun.

It hit 80 here today

42 above today, cloudless bright sunny day. Repacked snowshoe trails most of the day, about six feet of snow on the ground. Will be low of eleven above tonight. Good time to be alive.
