We broke in the new boat with style last weekend. My 9 year old daughter and 12 year old son had to show me how it's done!

[Linked Image] Daughters 9 lb pike.

[Linked Image] Sons 9 lb pike.

[Linked Image] A long skinny 9 lbs.

[Linked Image] A stocky 12 lb

[Linked Image] Daughters 18 lb 6 oz pike. She did it all herself!

Overall, the boat is sufficiently slimed and off to a great start!

Nice going!

It is rare for a Canuck to like jacks.

Great looking young folks!

Well done! Great stuff right there.

We'll be heading to NW Ontario (English River) for our 21st season of fishing there in a few weeks...

I've always loved catching pike. While all of these were released, they make great eating. I can clean and debone them in the same time it takes to do a walleye and when they are out of cold water and fresh you have a hard time telling them apart.
