Google tells me to be wary of these as cracked hull welds did occur in this time frame. Just looking for any personal experiences with these hulls in the '97-'99 age range. There's a couple for sale locally that are interesting, as long as the hull isn't a ticking time bomb.

I looked at it.... welds looked fine, "but"....

I might stil be interested if it's properly accounted for in the price. The seller is still a bit proud of it. Nicely equipped though with downriggers, a crab pot divot (sp?), nice anchor, galv trailer, etc.
