As I remember it you said you don't eat trout, but do you ever catch any "eatin" size fish there with the jig?

All the times I have fished for trout I never even thought about using a jig.
Not unlike a large wet fly.
If I get back to trout waters I will have to try them.

I do catch plenty of eating sized trout. I wish I could find a recipe I liked that would make them taste a little less trouty.

Always fun to see your trout jig fishing videos, easy to see why you're so smiley!
For less fishy trout, I skin them but leave them whole so I can season , roll in foil and grill or bake.
This isn't my video but that's how it's done.

Jim, if it makes you feel any better I didn't realize a guy could fish there either until a few years ago.

My daughter and I had an insanely good time making this video. It's one of my best memories for 2017. Take a look if you haven't yet, it has plenty of fish catching action.

A very nice professionally done video Troy. Hard to believe that you had that place all to yourselves. I liked the catch and release too. Most of my friends idea of catch and release is: Release to the grease.
