And increased fishing pressure. There are a LOT of fishermen nowadays.

Yes. There was a run of huge fish in the upper reaches of the Columbia River that was lost when Grand Coulee went in.

It is quite apparent they can't read, or if they can they haven't read the same fishing books I have.
Gone. Might be one of the many reasons resident orcas are having a harder time, "tiny" 15 pound kings vs 40, 50, 60+ pounders.

They better learn how to eat seals and sea lions, plenty of them around. Or we could start shooting the northern populations of orcas that eat "their" fish.
Leave the orcas, shoot the seals and sea lions.
