Duvel,
So I have attached some pictures (I hope) of some Husqvarna sight hood variations. Vaguely a progression of their sight hoods.
The top hood is like yours. About 15/16" in diameter with the stippling ring around it. These were found on the 46's, 146's, 640's, and High Powers etc. I have also seen early Mauser sporting rifle sight hoods on a few 146 models. Possible replacements?
The second hood is on a 1640 action rifle. They were about 5/8" to 11/16" diameter. These were found on the 1640"s, 1600's, 4000's, etc models. I have seen the larger hoods on the 1640 rifles too. Possibly the earlier ones? I have to assume the sight hoods got smaller as optics grew in popularity.
The last hood is on a 1900 action. This was just as Carl Gustaf was taking over production and this sight hood was used on Carl Gustaf sporters for quite a while. It is about 5/8" wide and 7/8" tall with the bobbed back end.
The good news is that at least the top two hoods pictured are original Husqvarna, and interchangeable. This could be the smaller sight hood option for you? I will send you a message too. I may be able to help you in your search as these sight hoods can be tougher to come across.
Regards,
