By George, learn something every day. Knew about the x55 and x57, but can't recall hearing of a Mauser version of the 6.5X54. I have a 6.5X54 M-S and immediately suspected the OP was confused about it.

Whoever said there should be more kurz actions is entirely correct!

Don't have one of those but I do have a Mannlicher Schoneaur Model 1093 in 6.5x54MS. Sweet little rig.
