Anyone know where they can be purchased? Front sight blade slides into a dovetail and is held in place by a spring loaded button.

Probably the same as used on cz550's. NECG carries Recknagel sights that can be fitted.

Thanks for that tip. I was looking at a major PITA to fit something into the ramp of my 1952 FN .30/06, which had a front sight too low for a proper zero. Getting the old one out was a chore, but the one I got from NECG only required minor fitting, and has plenty of material to permit any needed modifications. Gonna get another one for my 1948.
