Looking at building a 400 Whelen from this 640 Husky w/action made by FN. Wondering about style although I already thought about Rigby style. Any ideas here for a 400 Whelen? Be Well, RZ.

Doesn't matter as long as it ends up heavy with a wide butt plate, otherwise it'll beat the snot out of you.

Don't have a pic of the finished rifle unfortunately but this 416 Ruger under a Whitworth .375 H&H for comparison weighed 8.5 lbs scoped and was a real joy to shoot. Don't underestimate the value of a properly fitted stock.
