Thought I would post this here to get some ideas where to find some. I've never reloaded for shotguns, but may have to start. A buddy gave me an A5. Plain Jane, no engraving. From the 40's I'm told. Has a Cutts on it. In pretty good shape.

Thanks,
Perry
Better check the chamber length yourself a 40's gun should be 2 3/4". Was my impression 16 ga went to 2 3/4" in 37 or 38. Mb

RST is what I have used in the past.

Magnum, I may have the birth year wrong, regardless the barrel is marked 16/65. I'll keep checking RST Ed, thanks.
I've used p&b, and westly richards., I got a 16 ga loader and components for sale also
Spud 06 you best get off your butt and pm gunscrew..mb

I did, immediately. LOL.
65mm is 2 9/16" so you cut 3/16" off the end of the case load the case and stick a tyvek wad over the shot charge and crimp. Mb

I have bought Gamebore 2.5" 16's from inside the glass case in the Mitchell Cabelas Gun Library. They were great shells and killed well.
Measure a standard field load "2 3/4" " case sometime. You might get a surprise. wink
