Hope it works well, it's suitable for most of my handguns so we'll see. 45 Colt is first priority.

I use that powder for 147 grain 9mm.
It's excellent stuff.
I use a lot of the VV stuff in 320, 330 and 340 for 9mm from 115-147.

It is the best pistol powder on the market imho but too expensive for plinking stuff where Unique or Bullseye or Powder Pistol will do just fine ... or Clays or whatever.

I save the VV for my EDC personal defense loads behind the finest projectiles I can get my hands-on ... usually Sierra JHP Vs or Speer GDHPs or Federal HSTs.
I saw a couple pounds of CFE Pistol at Sportsmans Saturday. Did not know anything about it, but grabbed it just because.

I see data in at least one of my manuals using CFE Pist for most of what I am loading for. It looks to be fill about the same niche as HS-6, Universal, SR4756, Blue Dot, and Unique.

327, 41 mag, 9mm, 38 Super, and 10mm
