...looking for recommendations for either San Lucas or San Jose...

figure two in the party looking for hotel and charter recommendations or package providers/booking agents

probably this june or july
Mike I will be watching this
I have not been there in 35 years

We would go down and Marlin fish end of January/ February normally watched the Super Bowl there and Marlin and Dorado fishing was awesome. The Marlin were smaller 135 to 150lbs but we usually caught 3 to 5 a day we could keep 2 and release others
On the off days of fishing we would Dove hunt

It was always a great trip
I hope to go next year I really don’t expect it to be the same at all

Hank
Ain't what it was.......

I much prefer LaPaz....not so touristy.

Check with Chris Jones at Fishermans Fleet

bloodydecks.com will have loads of updates.
I've fished down there a number of times. We go to a place about 50 miles north of Cabo, Martin Verdugo's Beach resort in Los Barriles. Haven't been there in about five years but we would fish six full days with the hotel, American breakfast and big packed lunch for around $1500 total. Beer is extra! That price is 2 to a boat. There is a town with restaurants and bars. We caught a lot of sails, stripers and some blue marlin. Years when the tuna are in you can catch yellow fin until you are too tired to reel. Never had a bad day fishing with them.
That $1500 per person. But still that's one day fishing in Cabo.
Bill

That just maybe the place we stayed
But at that time the fish drove us toCabo because the fish were more plentiful there (at the time) and we hooked up with a lawyer from NY and would charter his Blackfin and the boat and crew was outstanding so we got in the habit of fishing in Cabo

The first year we fished there (at the resort ) and were not very successful again that was a long time ago and maybe that time of the year

There was a Gringo by the name of Steve who ran the resort and always made our time there just awesome

I hate to drag this in the dirt but there is a government run enterprise in LaPaz and one year we made a visit there
It was not what I was expecting maybe the biggest disappointment of my life to that point😩😂

Hank
"Government run enterprise"......That about says it all.
A good friend from high school lives and works down in Cabo.
Lookup Cabo Villas Beach Resort and he's part owner of Corazon Charters Los Cabos.
He'll treat you right.
Thanks for all the comments and info. I too have fished Los Barilles but need to find someone in San Jose del Cabo and I found Angeles GK Fishing
In the air as I type this. Returning from the east cape. We stay at rancho leonaro, great place, simple, great food, staff good equipment. Booked a return trip for October when we checked out this more. Lotsa yellowtail right now, which ain’t a bad thing
